New Year Blessing

Maybe you wonder what did I do to welcome new year of 2012. Umm, it's okay if you don't.
*brooded in the corner*
Well, I'll tell you no matter what. Actually, I was hospitalized in new year eve for undiagnosed illness. Blood test, urine test, and USG showed nothing wrong with my body. But, it felt like hell just to walk, to sleep, to urinate, and even to breathe.

But, this experience really shed a light on me. I realize that it's such a blessing to be able to take a deep breath, enjoying oxygen as much as I can, to sleep comfortably in any position, to walk everywhere my heart tell me, and to laugh as loud as I can.

Someone took this pic when I sat powerlessly on hospital bed
while my mom fell to sleep on couch due to fatigue

I feel so grateful to have people who cares so much about me. My dad who drove home from workplace to take me to hospital, borrowing office car because his car is in repair. My mom who's worried so much about me, ensuring my dad to take me into 2 different hospitals just to make sure I got the right medication. She faithfully accompanied me through my suffering, helped me out with everything I need. Kareshi who stayed up all night, helping my mom taking care of me so she could get rest for a bit. Thank you for those who held my hands when I feel like dying. I'd also like to thank my sister and brother who showed up and gave me spirit to recover. My friends who showed sympathy also encouraged me. I love you all guys.

So, to all of people out there, let me tell you this: health is wealth. Enjoy your life and take care of yourself. Reward your body for working hard for you each day. Eat, laugh, love, and live as well as you can before it's too late or too hard to do.
